If you grew up in the 90s, you probably remember watching your favourite stars on television and on the big screen. Some of them are still playing in blockbuster movies but others have seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and see if you recognize these iconic 90s stars of yesteryear!
1. Jessica Biel
Jessica Biel is one of the luckier 90s stars since she was able to forge a career after starring as Mary in 7th Heaven. She’s played in many films since and she recently starred in The Sinner in 2017. She is also married to Justin Timberlake.
2. Drew Barrymore
Drew Barrymore was one of the most sought after actresses in the 90s. She played in many movies including Poison Ivy, Mad Love and Batman Forever. She continued her acting career in the early 2000s but has now turned her attention to her beauty line Flower.
3. Beverly Mitchell
One of the stars of 7th Heaven, Beverly Mitchell retired from acting in 2006 to pursue a career as a singer. She’s married to Michael Cameron, has two children and a great career as a country singer.
4. Jennifer Love Hewitt
A teen idol in the 90s, Jennifer Love Hewitt does not act anymore but she will always be remembered for her roles in I Know What You Did Last Summer, Can’t Hardly Wait and Party of Five.
5. Mackenzie Rosman
Another 7th Heaven actress, Mackenzie Rosman quit acting and became an equestrian show jumper. She did guest star in The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
6. Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon Levitt is still acting today in big blockbusters but you might have forgotten that he played in 10 Things I Hate About You and Angels in the Outfield.
7. Kirsten Dunst
Who could forget the movie Bring it On? It’s a 90s teen movie classic. Kirsten was also in Jumanji, The Virgin Suicides and Spiderman.
8. Catherine Hicks
Catherine Hicks played Annie Camden in the hit television show 7th Heaven.
9. Alicia Silverstone
If you haven’t seen Clueless, then you need to watch it right now. Alicia Silverstone was amazing in the role of Cher. An active animal rights activist, she dipped her toes in theatre and played alongside Jason Biggs in The Graduate on Broadway.
10. Stephen Collins
Another actor who played in 7th Heaven, Stephen Collins continued acting until he was involved in a scandal of sexual abuse on young girls in 2014.
11. Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino
The adorable twins in 7th Heaven are actually part of the four Brino quadruplets. They tried to go their own way and have solo careers but none of them made it big.
12. Sarah Michelle Gellar
Buffy was a huge hit in the 90s. Sarah Michelle Gellar played in almost all teen movies during this decade. She now lays low but is still married to Freddie Prince Jr.
13. David Gallagher
This cutie became a real handsome man. David Gallagher used to play in 7th Heaven but later played in CSI and The Vampire Diaries.
14. Leonardo DiCaprio
This man needs no introduction. The younger readers might be surprised to know that Leo DiCaprio actually started out as a teen actor.
15. George Stults
George Stults played Kevin in 7th Heaven. He now plays in B list movies and television shows.
16. Tiffani Thiessen
Tiffani was a huge television actress in the 90s. She played in Saved By the Bell and Beverly Hills 90210.
17. Tyler Hoechlin
This 90s heartthrob played Martin in 7th Heaven and he then played Derek Hale on Teen Wolf, which aired on MTV.
18. Bob Saget
Bob Saget played the loveable father of three in Full House. Since his Full House days, he started doing stand-up comedy, he starred in Fuller House (a reboot of the 90s show) and was the narrator on How I Met Your Mother.
19. Adam LaVorgna
An interesting fact about Adam LaVorgna is that he dated Jessica Biel before joining the 7th Heaven cast. Since then, he has played in television shows like CSI: Miami and Law & Order.
20. Ashlee Simpson
Ashlee Simpson is the younger sister of Jessica Simpson but she is also an actress and singer. She played Cecilia on 7th Heaven and also starred in Melrose Place.
21. Andrew Keegan
Another actor who played in 7th Heaven, Andrew Keegan was also in 10 Things I Hate About You, House and CSI. He started his own religion a few years ago.
22. Christopher Michael
Christopher Michael played Chief Officer Michaels in 7th Heaven. After the show ended, he continued playing in notable television shows like Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Parenthood.
23. Haylie Duff
The last name sounds familiar? Haylie Duff is actually Hilary Duff’s sister. She played in 7th Heaven but also sang and had a modelling career.
24. Rachel Blanchard
Rachel Blanchard also played in 7th Heaven. She played Robbie’s love interest before he had to go back to Florida to tend to his ailing mother. Rachel also played in Snakes on a Plane and Fargo.
25. Jeremy London
Jeremy London played Chandler on 7th Heaven. Since the show ended, he landed a few small roles in various tv shows and movies.
26. Sarah Wright
You might be surprised to know that Sarah Wright played in 7th Heaven before landing a role on Parks and Recreation. She also played on the series Marry Me.
27. Kyle Searles
Remember Martin’s best friend on 7th Heaven? Well, that was Kyle Searles. After the show, he played in other B list movies.
