Here’s The Median Cost Of Rent In Every State, Ranked

1442

Well, GoBankingRates found out the median rate for a single-family residence in each state.  Before we reveal these numbers to you, did you know you shouldn’t spend more than 30% of your income on rent? That sounds like a fantasy to us, to be honest. Especially in the current economic climate, where it’s hard enough to find a job. Living in a big city de facto seems to mean you’re going to overspend on rent. Anyway, we also included how much money you’d need to earn if you wanted to respect that ratio.

From the cheapest state to the most expensive, here it goes!
